For those who have been waiting for new Apple products, especially the iPad Mini 7, which has not been redesigned for a long time, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently reported that Apple plans to launch several new Mac models using the M4 chip in late October, and may be available as early as Friday, November 1.
New Mac models expected to be launched
- 14-inch MacBook Pro: The entry-level model will use the M4 chip, while the high-end models will use the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips.
- Mac mini: All-new design, with M4 and M4 Pro chip options.
- iMac: Upgraded to the M4 chip.
In addition, there are rumors that the new iPad mini will be launched in early November. This would be the first update since 2021.
For the first half of 2025, Gurman predicts Apple will release:
- 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Airs with M4 chips
- iPhone SE with Apple Intelligence
- New 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Airs with new Magic Keyboard
- New AirTags
New Mac Studio and Mac Pro models with M4 chips are expected to launch in mid-2025 and late 2025, respectively.
