As you know, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series with One UI 7 as the operating system adds the Now Bar as a small bar on the screen similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island that can now be used with Google Maps. Whether it’s navigation, public transportation directions, or other travel information, it can be displayed on the Now Bar in real time, even when the screen is locked!

What’s more, Now Bar supports Always-on Display, allowing you to easily check your travel information without unlocking the screen.

Google is also preparing to launch a similar Live Updates feature in Android 16. In the near future, we may see this cool feature on other Android smartphones!
