Xiaomi SU7 ULTRA, the brutal 3-motor 1,548 hp!

Xiaomi launched the SU7 Ultra, a 4-door electric car with 3 motors, a maximum power of 1,548 horsepower, an extremely brutal acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, starting price 814,900 yuan

After Xiaomi launched the SU7 Ultra Prototype prototype a few months ago, the production version has now been officially launched, stating that this is the fastest and most powerful 4-door sedan in the world.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is powered by three electric motors, consisting of two 425 kW (578 hp) V8s to drive the rear wheels and a 288 kW (392 hp) V6s to drive the front wheels. The total output is 1,139 kW or 1,548 hp (PS).

This power allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, compared to the Tesla Model S Plaid’s 2.1 seconds and the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT’s 2.3 seconds.

In addition, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra can accelerate continuously to 200 km/h in just 5.86 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h, comparable to a real supercar.

To support such a huge amount of power, the car is equipped with a CATL-developed 897-volt NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) Qilin 2.0 battery that can release up to 1,330 kilowatts of power, or even if the battery is only 20% low, it can still release up to 800 kilowatts of power, equivalent to 1,088 horsepower (PS).

It also supports 5.2C charging technology that supports up to 490 kilowatts of power, capable of charging from 10-80% in just 11 minutes. However, Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the driving range details.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra isn’t just developed to be a straight line king, it’s also equipped with a suspension tuned for Germany’s Nurburgring. You can choose between Dual Chamber electric air suspension or Bilstein EVO T1 coilovers, and Akebono carbon ceramic brake discs that can reduce speed from 100-0 km/h in just 30.8 meters.

The exterior is equipped with aerodynamic enhancements, such as air fins on both ends of the front bumper, 10-inch larger air intakes, and a carbon fiber spoiler above the rear trunk. The highlight is the installation of an active diffuser that can adjust air flow to suit driving conditions.

The body is 7 millimeters wider to accommodate 21-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero Elect tires as standard from the factory.

The interior is decorated with yellow leather and black Alcantara suede. It is equipped with sports seats that use a lightweight carbon fiber structure. The 3-spoke steering wheel is decorated with carbon fiber and has a yellow center mark at 12 o’clock. You can see through to the 7.1-inch driving information display.

The 16.1-inch central touchscreen has been developed with an interface specifically for the Ultra model. It has the Track Master function, which is equipped with a map of the racetrack and lap statistics of more than 20 racetracks across China. It can record driving data in real time and can also record videos of your own driving.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will start shipping to customers from March 2025.
